Description
These lovely long wooden earrings have a long waka hoe (traditional Maori canoe paddle) shape to them. They vary in colour from golden tan to a brown grey. If you look closely you can see the sap pockets in the timber.
This wood was pulled out of the earth in the Horowhenua district, New Zealand. NIWA certified that it was approx. 8000 years old. You wont find a unique timber like this often.
